Masks are optional for all taxpayers, volunteers and staff in the building.

• Photo ID (for you & spouse - if filing jointly).

• Social Security cards and birthdates for taxpayer(s) and all dependents.

• If IRS sent you a letter with 6-digit IP PIN, bring with you.  Must have to file your return!!

• Proof of childcare or dependent care expenses (amt paid, provider's name, address & tax ID).

• W-2, 1099-R, 1099- NEC, 1099-MISC, 1099-INT, 1099-C, 1099-K, 1099-DIV, 1099-B, 1099-C.

• All other 1099 forms (Social Security, Railroad retirement, pension, unemployment, etc).

• Form 1095A - REQUIRED if you purchased health insurance through Marketplace (aka Obamacare),  *Must have to file your return!!

• 1098-T & student fee activity statement from educational institution(s). *Also textbook expense. 

• 1098-E Student Interest.

• If you qualify for Missouri Property Tax Credit (aka "Circuit Breaker")

  • Proof of income - (wages, social security, SSI Income Letter, VA Benefits Letter, etc.)

  • For Homeowners - Paid Real Estate tax receipt.

  • For Renters - Missouri Form 5674 - Verification of Rent Paid (NO RENT RECEIPTS!).

• For Retirees: Insurance premium costs for Medical, dental, prescription, vision,  long-term care.

  • If Itemizing - Paid Taxes (Real Estate, Pers. Prop. Mortgage Interest, Car Sales Tax), Unreimbursed Medical expense, Charity Donations

•  For Direct Deposit - Copy of VOIDED personal check that shows Routing & Acct. No. 

• Copies of prior year tax return (if you have) and other documents you feel may be needed to complete return.
